July Holidays Causing Chaos in Utah Parent-Time

In 2010, both the Fourth of July holiday and the Utah Pioneer Day holiday, on July 24th, fall on the weekend but courts and some places of business are closed on July 5th and July 23rd because of these holidays.  This is enough to cause parents to argue about what the holiday actually means when they look at their parent-time.

Asset and Debt Distribution in a Utah Divorce

FAQ 2: How Long Will My Divorce Take and How Much Will It Cost?

This is the second part of a five part series on frequently asked questions (FAQs) in Family Law.  This question is really two questions, obviously.  But the two are very intermixed and they are often asked in conjunction with each other.

I’m going to give you an answer that is exactly what you’d expect from a lawyer (and probably this type of answer is what makes lawyers widely despised).  THE ANSWER IS….    IT DEPENDS.
