		<description>@Kayleen:  Thanks for the question.  As I mention in the post relocation is usually heavily contested and litigated, so there is no straight answer.  However, EITHER PARTY can move to make a better life if they want, it&#039;s just that whoever moves doesn&#039;t automatically get to take the child/ren with him or her.  A move potentially changes custody and/or parent-time for both parties.  However, if a divorce decree or paternity decree has already been entered and that decree specifically allows one the parties to move and take the child/ren, the decree should be upheld by the courts most of the time.
